I can't say enough good things about my experience here! I had an emergency electrical problem while moving from Miami to Seattle. They immediately took my van in and got to work, solving my complex problem in a very short amount of time. I was driving away in a little over 2 hours! I am blown away by the professionalism, expertise, and kindness the entire shop showed me. If you are looking for honest, dedicated craftsmen who treat the customer right, this is the shop for you. Thanks to Frank the owner we didn't get tricked into replacing our transmission by Mercedes Benz of Ft. Pierce. We had been told by MB in Ft Pierce that our transmission on our 21 GLE450 had failed (would not update adaptive control and 2 failed valve bodies with metallic in the oil) and needed replacing for $17,200 at our cost. I took it to Frank at Advanced Auto Repair and Transmission Inc and paid for a second opinion to include diagnostic test and transmission adaptive update and test drive. Franks testing showed no transmission issues or codes and test drive and shifting was normal. He said there was nothing wrong with the transmission and charged a modest and honest price for the testing and inspection. Thanks again for being an honest businessman and a value to this community.

Advance Auto Repair & Transmission – Please Read Before Trusting This Shop With Your Transmission I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after dealing with this issue from November 2024 through 2026, I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before spending thousands of dollars here. In November 2024, I brought my vehicle to Advance Auto Repair & Transmission because my transmission was slipping. After speaking with the owner, Frank, I paid $3,991 on 11/2/2024 to have my transmission rebuilt. About a week after getting my car back, I noticed transmission fluid leaking and had to return the vehicle for repairs. They corrected the leak, but approximately three months later, the transmission began slipping again. I brought the car back, and Frank repaired it without issue. However, shortly afterward, the torque converter (which is part of the transmission system) failed. The torque converter was replaced multiple times because, according to Frank, the parts supplier kept sending defective parts. Eventually, he ordered the part directly from the dealership. Unfortunately, after the replacement, the transmission slipping returned again.

AAR&T is the best of the best hands down. Here's our experience!! First meeting happened as kind of an emergency.....heading to Orlando on 95, (going about the same speed) to catch a flight, when BAM! some piece of metal flew out the back of our car....we pull over....damn... Looks like a metal case or something, or part of...... ( I have no idea) but hubby kinda knew. Long story short, (hey I'm trying) we have incredible friends and AAA. Friend says, hey, I know Frank, have your car towed there. Great , tow truck arrived, loaded her up and got her to AAR&T. We call them, explained what happened, and, oh by the way....we are headed to PA, they say, no worries, we will call you and let you know what broke and the estimate....and don't worry about your car, you can leave it here while your up in PA!!!! OHHH thank you so much!!! We got to airport and Frank fixed my car!! We were more than grateful for their generosity! That sold me!! Car was fixed, and Frank made sure all was good! That is stand up. Mad respect!!! They didn't know us, but that's who they are!!!! Fast forward to Monday. ( Sorry for this long post 🤦🏻‍♀️) This time...again, something going bump li

My '99 Dodge Ram work truck needed a torque converter. They got it diagnosed, up and running in a very reasonable amount of time. I was offered an upgraded repair option which I appreciated and selected to keep my truck running reliably at over 400,000 miles. I'm very happy with the work.
